Hump Day Highlights

Hump Day Highlight { Shape Books}

This has been a very interesting week.  We are back in school with our kiddos after having four straight cold days! Thank you Cleveland weather! Here is a wonderful view I took from my car this week.  Spring cannot come soon enough!

Although I miss my kinders dearly, these snow days gave me the opportunity to focus on getting my blog started and create some TPT projects.  I am soooo excited to get to share all the amazing things my students are doing in my classroom with you!

Here is my latest project in my TPT store.  It is a bundle of 6 different shape books including circle, triangle, square, oval, rectangle, and a multiple shape book.

Each easy reader book includes 6 pages for students to reinforce their shape identification and shape words.  The last page allows the students to draw their own shape and write the shape word themselves in elkonin boxes.

 Its a pleasure to meet you!
My name is Stephanie Murray and I am new to this wonderful blogging world!  Here's a little bit about me.  The picture above is of myself and my husband Jim.  We have been together since high school and have been married for almost 4 years.  He is one of my biggest supporters and the best daddy to our son Ethan.  Which brings us to my next photo...

This little handsome guy is my son Ethan James.  He is truly the light of my life and brings me so much joy.  He's a typical 2 year old who is full of energy and has an amazing personality of his own already.

I am currently teaching kindergarten at a charter school in Cleveland, Ohio.  I have an amazing group of 21 kinders who remind of everyday why I love what I do!  I am also very lucky to have the best grade mate and is someone who many of you already know in this blog world as Mrs. Stanford's Class.  I am so excited to be able to share all of the great things I am doing in my classroom with you!!

Until next time,
Stephanie
